What Bike Saddle Is Best For you?

In general, wider seats allow you to distribute weight better and are better for overweight bikers.   However, softer isn’t always better, you will want something firm enough because if you’re a bit heavier you’ll start to feel the frame below the soft gel or foam.

If you’re a man you’ve got some extra equipment there.   The circle-cut outs are a bit better for circulation if that’s an issue but by and large you’ll want to opt for soft seats.   Gel seats are popular for this reason because they tend to be cooler,  and softer where they need to be.
